Break Ties With Your Past
Wars
...
This dream shows us that you can get so used to warring in one area that you not only adapt but live in the environment of war, always warring and never resting. Another important facet in the dream is how at a certain age, she and her children experienced trauma and learn to live in and with the trauma. The Lord is saying, "I would have you enter into rest from the warfare and trauma of your past."

When It Pours
Moses prayed, “Now therefore, if I have found favor in your sight, please show me now your ways, that I may know you in order to find favor in your sight” (Exodus 33:13).
Have you ever found yourself in the middle of one of those seasons where it seems somebody opened the floodgates and said, “Okay, throw everything and the kitchen sink this way and let’s see how this guy, this gal, handles it!”? The old saying “when it rains it pours” didn’t come out of nowhere. And it hardly seems likely that trouble and the favor of God are bound together. But they are.

Obeying God Will Not Always Give You Goosebumps
I am learning that many things I do are not because I "feel" led to do them...but because it is the right thing to do. Most of the "right" things I know to do take faith instead of feelings.
It's the prayer of faith that saves the sick, not the prayer of feeling (James 5:15).
I have seen more people receive their healing when I didn't even "feel" like praying for them...but I did anyway. Once I prayed for my sister who had a cyst the size of a golf ball in her ovary. I felt helpless and prayed what seemed like an unanointed, lifeless prayer. But hours later, she woke up with a warm sensation from her waist down, and the next day's x-ray showed the cyst was gone! I think the feeling part was meant for her, not for me.

Learning to Lean or Leaning to Learn?
“Who is this coming up out of the wilderness leaning upon her beloved?”
Then the Spirit spoke and said, “In order to learn the new ways to walk in this new time you must first learn to lean. You first must lean upon Me in order to learn from Me.”

I Will Prune You
God is really saying this. I will prune you so you can bring forth new fruit.
This is one of the messages of this Pentecost time. I looked at Pam's garden yesterday. She had one section of plants (something I always see in Asia) that she removed during winter, hung up in our storage room, and then brought out 2 months ago and replanted.
They were so dormant they looked dead. For two months, I have walked by this section and said, "This looks like a horror movie garden!" She said, "They are just dormant, their roots have not stimulated, and though they look dead, they are filled with life." This sounded like a faith statement to me. But I knew not to pull them up... (I will not tell you why I knew not to pull them up, but you can surmise, that I have probably done that before, and my, what a mess.)
Yesterday we were sitting outside with Chloe, our two year granddaughter, and I was looking at this horror garden and I saw the sprouts. There are things in you that have felt dead for a long time that will now begin to sprout.

Discipleship of the Emerging Generation
If we are to see the emerging generation of young leaders raised up, empowered, trained and released into effective Kingdom ministry, it is imperative that we understand and embrace the role of apostolic fathers and mothers in relation to discipleship of spiritual sons and daughters.

Expect
I feel the Lord is calling us to break the back of a principality that does not want us to enter into this next level. God says, “Some of you are going to get delivered of Freemasonry in your blood line. Some of you are going to get delivered of religion that has been holding you. Some of you are going to get delivered of poverty. I am re-ordering your day now. It will not sound like nor look like any other day.”

VISION
Vision: My hands were open in a holding fashion, and oil is being poured into them.
Scripture: In 2Kings 4 there is a widow talking with Elisha about the problems she's had since her husband's death. She tells him that since her husband's death she owes money that she doesn't have, and she has no way to pay the dept. Elisha tells her to gather as many jars as she can and to start pouring oil into them.
I was in prayer the other night and the pastor asked everyone to life their hands out in front of them, and as I did so I heard God tell me to put my hands together in a cupping fashion. As I did this and closed my eyes, in my mind's eye I saw oil being poured down--from somewhere I could not see--into my cupped hands.
